if you only want one cup then hell yeah..... but who just drinks 1 cup of coffee?
We have a Keurig single cup maker at work and it's wonderful. It only takes 30 seconds to brew a cup of coffee and you can have multiple selections for everyone.
If you only drink a small cup it is fine but if you drink a mug that is two shots. Very expensive with small selection of varieties and expensive water heater for packs of cocoa. You Can buy a adapters for some units to use regular coffee, but that takes time and is messy. It does not have the taste of fresh ground coffee. I use a 4 cup coffee maker which I turn on when I get up and have coffee after my morning visit to the bathroom. The Keurig B60 took four times the counter space as my coffee maker. It was a wast of money.
i am a coffee newbie, but I've had a 4 cup maker since I can remember. I recently started drinking coffee and I usually drink a bit more than one serving at a time....

My dad uses a single cup maker which surprises me because he is a big coffee drinker. He must make several cups at one time.
