commercial_coffee_maker_replacement_parts for West-bend etc.?
Several American Legion and VFW posts have a dozen or so burnt out elements in their 35-cup coffee pots. My friends were wondering if they can be reworked. Does someone refurbish any old units? Or, can some parts be purchashed?

Generally the elements cant be repaired or replaced. Because they are a sealed element, it is impairitive that they do not leak electricity and electrocute anyone who touches the coffee maker.
Best to just shirt-can the whole thing and look for Bunn cofee makers. By far the Best in the business.
They can be replaced but it needs to be done by a qualified tech.
