I have a new Keurig coffee maker that uses the pods and it worked great when I set it up, but now it's just constantly blinking "NOT READY". Is it broken?

I was wondering if you can use other pods in the Coffee maker? I couldn't find any pods at the store for the Melitta Jave Pod. If anyone has the Java Pod (And they look real sharp) Have you used other Pods, like the Senseo ones? I want to buy a box of pod filters made by Melitta but I don't think they are for the Jave Pod but are for the Senseo Pot. Help would be appreciated. Thanks Debbie

Which brands are the best, what coffee pods are compatible or do i have to purchase only from the brand of maker i buy? can i brew my own coffee or do i have to use a pod? where do i actually purchase these pods? grocery store? i am so confused - there are so many types out there and i do not want to waste money on a brand that is not good.

I got this coffee maker as a gift, along with this thing that apparently can be used to make your own coffee pods. It was great while the coffee lasted, but now I am almost out of coffee and don't feel like spending beaucoup bucks on a new supply. I just want the coffee filters so I can put my own coffee in them, but I can't find them anywhere. What a stupid coffee maker. What were they thinking when they made this?

I'm looking into buying a machine like the Senseo, Tassimo, or Nespresso. If you have one, do you like it? Do you find it restrictive in terms of flavor/taste of coffees? Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

So I'm going camping this weekend, and I accidentally bought some coffee pods (the ones for use in pod-specific coffee makers) instead of the 1-cup instant coffee bag things (like tea bags, but coffee). My question is, if I simply steep the coffee pod in hot water, as if it were a tea bag, will it result in a decent cup of coffee? Thanks! For the record, the answer is no. It's horrible!!
